By the age of 22 Pipino Cuevas had already defended his title 12 times and racked up a good enough resume to make it to the IBHOF.

    Is Jim Corbett a shout?

He only had 15 official fights but his victims included Sullivan,Mitchell,Kilrain,Choynski and McCoy (although that one was likely fixed).Plus he fought a draw after 61 rounds with the great Peter Jackson. He also gave a prime Jim Jeffries a lesson for 22 rounds before getting stopped by the younger much larger man.

He's probably more a great fight figure than great fighter per se but still you can't argue that he achieved a lasting significence in boxing.

Tyson was considered great by many after just a few years as a pro.

He turned pro in March of '85, won a world title belt in November of '86, won another in March of '87, unified the major belts in the division in August of '87, and beat the lineal HW champ in June of '88. By the end of '89 he was 37-0 (33) overall and 10-0 (8KO) in HW World Title Fights at the rip old age of 23.
