The Tarver fights were absolutely atrocious and the Glen Johnson rematch is not rewatchable.

If you want to watch great boxers, check Montiel, Juan manuel marquez, Barrera, the part that most people find boring on dawson and mayweather is that they have the skills to be great but there is no heart to engage with punches, people want to see knockdowns, punches. I respect that you dont find it boring but watch barrera vs morales 1 and then watch floyd or dawson and maybe klitscho and you will find them boring. klitscho has one of the most devasting right hands and he uses it until round 5 on every fight

winky is one of my fave fighters ever. you can't say he's boring but then have to admire calderon , since winky is skillful like that but not in the way he slips punches etc...he instead blocks them with his excellent defence

I dont understand how you say Winky is boring because he doesnt knock anyone out but you like Calderon, who has as much sizzle on his punches as a wet pack of matches.

Generally, I hate waching fighters who clinch excessively. Ruiz would be the worst offender but anyone who can't go ten seconds without grabbing his opponent make me lose interest quickly.

I'll also add Wlad, Winky and Hopkins. Watching Wlad these days it's difficult to tell any round, fight or opponent from the other. He's developed a style which works extremely well for him but I just don't get any enjoyment from watching it.

Hopkins has produced some great performances over the years but large periods of his Middleweight reign were very hard to watch. Too much mauling and clinching for my tastes.

I'm not even sure why I find Winky so boring to be honest. I like watching guys like Floyd and Calderon, so I have nothing against pure boxers, even if they can't punch. For some reason though, even when Winky is trying to be exciting (like against Quartey), he just leaves me cold.
