Floyd Mayweather. People like to blame him for certain fights not happening but the fact of the matter is it was the fault of his shitty former promoter Bob Arum who promoted Floyd for the overwhelming majority of his career.

Oh, so because I don't agree that Mayweather has never ducked anyone :)rofl) it means that I'm a hater? You are one sad kid.

Is that really how you see things? How old are you, like 14?

but he didn't "duck" Valuev, he tried to make the fight twice in a almost 2 year period. Don King priced Valuev out.

Holmes may have not "ducked" (really, what exactly defines a "duck" in boxing terms?) opponents but he sure as hell failed to meet a good number of worthy heavyweights during his reign.

If boxing message boards were around then, Holmes would've been crucified and called one of the biggest "duckers" and "cherry-pickers" in the sport, especially late in his title reign.

If you're a big name/champ in the sport, there's most likely going to be some contender you don't face. You can't fight everyone, especially nowadays with less activity level. If you stay awhile in one division and rule it, you're less likely to have guys you fail to face though.

Whom really "ducks" or "dodges" whom we probably don't really know, there's a lot of **** going on behind closed doors with politics and all. I always figured Bowe avoided Lewis because Newman figured he and Bowe could milk HBO for millions against soft touches. I was then linked to all these articles about the WBC, Jose Suliaman, the beef that Newman had with them from a prior meeting, alleged offers from each side, etc....So many different stories and so much politics it gave me a headache trying to read all of it.

I thought him taking on hopkins would bring him up in p4p ranking if he would have won of course..then set up a showdown with jones jnr..that was the plan.

wasn't he a fav to beat hopkins?
