He got in trouble for it years later and served some menial punishment but obviously wasn't tried as an adult.

Some choose to cut him slack for the sexual assault because "he was only young himself", but I'm sorry...that much older, to violate a smaller child's trust...nah. The abuse took place over a time when he was 11-13 and his unidentified "close female relative" (so either a sister or cousin, he has some of each) was 5-8. That **** doesn't slide for me.
