    To name 3 in his generation, Floyd was quick but more because his timing is so good for outright speed there where more than a couple of contemporaries that had faster raw hand speed.

    Yes in his prime, his combinations where much much faster than Floyd's.

    I am not saying Floyd doesnt have fast hands he does, BUT, his great timing makes him seem quicker than he really is for raw speed Pac, Khan ect are all faster IMO

    Floyd at 140 and lower had blazing fast hands. Just because some guys got more punches off in combination doesn't mean they were faster

    Their were plenty fighter faster of hand and foot than Mayweather Jr, even at the lighter weights, but few were as skilled.
