    Valero.
    Like many of the folks here have suggested;
    He does not deserve a shot at pacman at all until he fights a live contender!

    I think De La Hoya has fought a lot of over the hill fighters (Chavez, Whitaker etc). I thought that he lost against Whitaker, he lost twice to Mosley. In fairness he should of got the decision against Trinidad and what he has done in terms of winning in so many weight divisions is great. But like Hatton his notable wins are against old fighters or are disputed decisions. I may be over looking something but thinking off the top of my head I can't think of a real peak fighter he has fought and won. (Vargas maybe??) I know i'm probably going to get ridiculed for this but this is my opinion.

    You mainly deserve to be ridiculed for the fact that what you wrote has nothing whatsoever to do with the question asked.
