Holyfield didn’t just fight anyone, he was competitive against everyone even a decade past his prime. Warrior

And GGG and his fans wanted nothing to do with ward and made up every excuse in the book as to why GGG shouldn't fight ward. These idiots act like people like you and me were not here back then when all the excuses from the GGG fans were made.
    Ward isn't a draw
    Ward is boring
    GGG fights at 160
    Who is Ward
Ward should move up Ward should fight Kovalev and get his career ended

These idiots act as if they never made these excuses like I can't go and bump all those old threads and expose them for it. Revisionist history at its finest. They never wanted GGG to fight Ward like Ward fans wanted Ward to fight GGG.:deal:

GGG didn't want the fight so he moved on. Nothing wrong with that.

Yet GGG was prepared to go to 154 for Floyd. SHRUG. Some guys got it, and some guys don't, I guess.

 Balls. Ward never wanted that work. He could have gone back to 168 after Kovalev for that GGG payday but he didn't want that work.

He's not going back to 168 after moving to 175 stop it. GGG was willing to fight JCC Jr and Froch at 168 why couldn't he fight Ward there then? We all know why because he knew and his fans knew he would get that work and lose. GGG has never dared to be great like Ward and thus Ward>GGG deal with it.

Yeah balls you remember Kovalev don't you? The guy you and your other GGG fanbois wanted Ward to move up and fight so he could leave poor GGG alone. You picked Kovalev to KO Ward, but you don't want to talk about that now do you? How did that work out for you? Or are you still crying about that like you're crying about Canelo-GGG?:risas3::risas3::risas3:

Posts like this make me dislike Ward.

Sure Ward moved up to fight the feared Kovalev. Luckily for him the colour of his passport got him the decision he needed to be considered great on here. No matter how big a fan I was of a fighter I really couldn't celebrate such a farcical paper 'win' and use it to say how good 'fighter x' was.

I've also had to go through the same BS over and over again - Ward was given a number of acclimatising fights before he took on Kovalev at 175 and I'm good with that. Why is it that Golovkin couldn't do the same with Froch before taking on the man at 168?

The double standards on here really **** me off.

Using the same logic: WHY THE **** should GGG move up to 168 to fight no-fanbase Andre "Bored" Ward in a crap division full of no-names when he's got bigger and better fights in the offing at MW? So Golovkin must go up and then back down, but not Ward? **** Ward. That's absolutely typical of his diva attitude.

Because Froch and Chavez can fill stadiums whereas Ward struggles to fill the local gym hall in Oakland without giving away tickets. They're pulling in the numbers. Typical Ward to want a 50-50 split on the cash but the weight all his way. This while GGG being the much smaller man and doing the heavy lifting in terms of selling tickets. Diva Ward strikes again!

Ward declined point blank to face GGG at the weight HE demanded and its therefore an outright duck. Deal with it.

I have never stated that GGG had to move to 168 and immediately take on Ward. That is unfair and everyone should get a fight or two in a new weightclass before taking on the best fighter at that weight. If GGG was willing to do that that would have been cool. Hell like you said Ward did the same thing at 175 to get ready for Kovalev so that would be fair.

Because Ward was a top 3 P4P fighter that's why:deal: GGG's resume was trash had no one of note on it and he was like 33 at the time it was time for him to step up and take a legacy fight. He didn't do it and is being killed for it still to this day. Taking on Canelo wasn't risk he was the favorite and he was expected to KO Canelo who was coming up in weight.

Froch was basically retired and old and JCC Jr was trash. Neither one of these fights would have done anything for his legacy. I don't care about him lining his pockets he took more step aside money than anyone in recent memory. Dare to be great or end up like GGG with a trash resume and people laughing at him.

Ward pulled GGG's card after GGG's team said 168-154 we will fight anyone and they responded for you 164 you're too good. GGG fans like you backed this shameful duck and came up with all kinds of excuses as to why GGG didn't need Ward as I mentioned earlier in this thread. Ward said **** it he's scared signed a new deal with HBO moved up and fought Kovalev a guy you and the rest of the GGG dick suckers said he would never fight and would KO him if he did. Like I said earlier, how did that work out for you.:risas3: Ward>GGG period deal with it.

Right so do we think Andre would of been happy for that to happen? I feel like this is totally ignored by certain posters on here. JCC AND Froch could of been good fights and would of given us a good idea as to whether or not Golovkin was a serious threat to Ward at 168.
