    It's fairly easy to remain undefeated if you're B/B+ and you handpick B-/B opponents whose styles are made for you. But it means nothing.

    I have, for good or bad, the tendency to take things literally. There are a lot of things that probably could/should be read into that question to make it meaningfull.

    I know you can only fit so much into the title, but perhaps a first post clarification? Your post is a good clarification.

    How about, "What fighters will have faced the best and retire undefeated?"

    In the end a fighters legacy is WHO he fought and WHEN. Example: JC/Bhop. That fight needed to happen earlier for Joe. Hopkins looked like he realized he didn't even want to be in the ring and just held on for dear life.

    Earlier, Bhops would have fought more and would have brought less experience and cunning to the table...so...earlier is a two-edged sword. Calzaghe would have been less experienced but he'd have been stronger, hungrier, better prepared, and would have risen to the occasion more.
