Who had the best Power Hand speed Chin Footwork Reflexes Ability to dodge Technical skills Ring i.q. Out of any fighter in history, dead or still living, every weight class included
Power - irrespective of weight, the likes of Sam Langford, Stanley Ketchel and Julian Jackson spring to mind. Heavyweight it would be Liston, Foreman or Marciano. Hand speed - Hearns could whip the jab with frightening speed for such a big puncher. Leonard could be super fast with his combinations. Prime Meldrick Taylor had lightening fast combinations too. Chin - George Chuvalo at heavyweight and Jake LaMotta as a non-heavyweight choice. 'Ability to dodge' and 'reflexes' seem pretty similar to me - from what I've seen, Niccolino Loche, Wilfred Benitez and Pernell Whitaker are the three that come to mind, although Willie Pep would probably be the historical choice as the greatest of all defensive fighters who could avoid a punch. Footwork - an obvious choice but Sugar Ray Robinson. The other Sugar Ray was a beautiful mover too. Technical skills - not sure about this as it takes in multiple areas. In terms of boxing fundamentals, a guy like Bernard Hopkins seems to be a modern equivalent to the guys fighting in the 40s and 50s that seemed to have generally solid technical skills and who based their work around a good jab, subtle head and body movement and be in the right position to throw their counter punches. Ring IQ/Generalship: Duran and Monzon are two that stand out.
If we are talking in absolute terms and not pfp the smaller guys can't be mentioned in the power department and hws can't be mentioned in speed, not even Ali
