I am BJJ myself, and just started. I have about 1 million questions about it.

I am a vicious typer. Sometimes I hit these keys so hard in the heat of a good fight that I actually scare myself. Pretty intimidating. I guess that I would have to label myself as a "power typer"... but I have form, and I am not a one trick pony. My home key placement and technique is top notch, and I can type fast and accurate as well, on most occasions. The dexterity in my fingers have been likened to BJ Penn's legs.

I've trained in lots of stuff. Been doing Taijutsu for over 10 years, Krav Maga on and off, BJJ since July, some minor Judo and of course I still train in boxing consistently.

I want to find a good catch wrestling/submission fighting school that's not associated with the BJJ culture, just some hardcore ****ing submission wrestling, I'd be down there daily.

5 years of karate with a black belt, took a few months off to let an ankle and other problems heal, now a boxer for 8 months. in general id be more comfortable striking with some clinch work and throwing than on the ground

Okinawan Karate, Aikido, and BJJ, plus a whole lotta books on JKD. I'm retired from training at the dojo due to an accumulation of injuries over the years, but I still work out with my heavy bag at home.

Have you looked into Matt Furey's stuff? His course on Farmer Burns submission wrestling is really good.

Judo and Boxing. Havent taken either seriously in about 14 years, but use the Judo I know any time my buddies want to get froggy. I really think you need good quickness, and a little explosiveness to be at least a little good at Judo. Need some natural gifts for it to work well.
