As a southpaw, I watch repeatedly several Skilled, Talented Boxers with incredible speed, movement and defense. I try to add a pieces of their style into my skillset in the ring. These are the fights/fighters I watch daily in an attempt to mimic their footwork, head-movement and combos (although at 40, I am nowhere near as fast).

Hector Camacho vs Jose Luis Ramirez - Hector's double jab followed by straight left, then right to the body is ****ing Awesome.

Winky Wright vs Tito Trinidad - Winky's jab and straight left should be shown to every teenaged amateur boxer...PERIOD!!!!

Pernell Whitaker vs. Jorge Paez - What a great fight...SKILL VS WILL!!!

James Toney vs Mike McCallum I - although neither of these fighters were southpaws...Damn, for fans who like Skill...this was a great fight to watch!!!

Pac - Hatton. The KO actually gets better.

Ward - Gatti I. Enough said.

    Hagler - Hearns. Obvious reasons

    Duran - Leonard. See above

Winky Wright certainly had one of the best jabs boxing has seen in the last 25 years.

The shell like defense can only be effective against top comp, when there's a busy jab added to it. That's why Arthur Abraham isn't going anywhere if he can't land a bomb.

I use to love seeing Pernell Whitaker for that incredible elusiveness. He was one of a kind in that department.

Roy Jones is easily my favorite fighter and his raw skills alone make him on a level of his own.

ive seen corrales vs castillo at least 5 times, its motivational and when youre fighting and it seems like youre lost, i try to remember how these two guys fought to give me an extra ounce of energy.

I watch highlights of sugar ray robinson all the time, he dealt with anything that was thrown at him. And his left hook combinations were a thing of beauty
