i think golovkin-canelo is the only ppv fight that would do good because canelo is well known, and golovkin has a pretty good fanbase because he fights in MSG, and he sells it out. the fight would also get massive advertisement just like the de la hoya-mayweather, mayweather-canelo, ppv did. are there any other fights that would do more than a million ppv buys

Golovkin has a great fanbase that sells out MSG yet his last fight sold 90k PPV buys. Lesson to learn here for the mentally incapable idiots supporting GGG?, tickets can be given for free, but PPV orders rarely are.

I don't think one single fight does it. It needs to be Canelo vs someone like Golovkin with a killer undercard.

Maybe Canelo vs Pacquiao but I don't think that's terribly realistic.

if GGG is getting 90-150k when he's got about 2% chance of losing, in a fight that can be billed as competitive it could do over a million, especially with canelo's fanbase.

UK side, a fury vs Joshua fight could do significant numbers, though PPVs are alot cheaper at £20 (circa $30)

It took Mayweather a decade of invinicibility to reach 1 Million PPV & he made benefit of giving the fans fights vs DLH & Pacman both established amongst casuals.

The boxing fanbase is 100K strong, so you always have to focus on casuals if you want to make the big $

No fights above 1 million ppv at the moment. The next wave of stars need to be built up and marketed for 2017/2018.

Boxing busted its nut with maypac, you gotta wait a few years for it to recharge another super fight. I think canelo ggg would do 400k-500k.

No two boxers will draw 1 mill PPV. You need more than boxing fans to make a super fight, and, like Forza just said, the Floyd-Pac fiasco (for everyone but them) had seriously degraded the PPV idea for a couple years.

Maybe, MAYBE, if there was a great HW on the horizon, an American one would be best, vs a very very good opponent we'd get a super fight. Personally I don't see GGG vs anyone making a million buys, 500-700,000 ok but not huge. Even vs Canelo.
