    Johnson vs McCall 2

Johnson drops McCall in the first and is a bit more patient with his attacks as he controls the action in the first.

McCall hurts Johnson and takes him down in the 2nd.

Its all to play for in the third and Johnson out strikes him defending the takedown attempts to score a clean victory this time with no complaints.

    Silva vs Franklin 2.

The first fight was a war that Franklin just about edged out.

This fight was pretty much a repeat.

The first sees some even striking battles but Franklin picks off some beautiful shots. The 2nd round probably should be a 10-8 as Silva batters him all the way across the octagon. Franklin wasn't really defending himself by the end of the round. The 3rd saw Franklin recover well and secure a takedown and finish the round strongly. Franklin picks off some shots in the 4tu to take that one without any real drama. Silva comes out swinging in the 5th and was probably winning the round until Franklin drops Silva with the last punch of the fight.

Silva is clearly faded, but he isn't shot like I once thought. He's still very dangerous, it's just hard for him stylistically to windmill when he's slowed down. But that power is still real.

    Ortiz vs Griffin 3.

Ironically Tito is now quite a competent striker which was his biggest weakness as a champion.

If he'd have developed this side of his game in his prime he could have been even greater than he already was.

Tito smashes Griffin around the Octagon but un believably the decision goes to Forrest.

    Appallingly bad call.

    Silva vs Sonnen 2.

Sonnen started this boutique very strong again taking Silva down and controlling the action. In the 2nd Sonnen shot but Silva evaded it causing Sonnen to slip off balance. As Sonnen was down Silva landed a huge knee to the chest and when Sonnen got back up another body shot finished him off.

    Excellent win for Silva.

    Weidman vs Munoz.

Chris continues his unbeaten start to MMA life as he dominates and stops Munoz in his first main event.

    Barao vs Faber.

Barao controlled Faber to take a very clear decision and announce himself as the interim champion.

    Shogun vs Vera

A great back and forth war that showed both men have good periods of success but ultimately Shogun was too accurate and powerful as he forced a 4th round stoppage.

    Edgar vs Henderson 2

Again Edgar seemed to better Henderson over the course of the 5 rounds but again Benson somehow got the decision.
