Hendricks vs Condit

Hendricks pounds out a close but clear decision over the great Carlos Condit to earn himself a shot at the champ.

Hendricks is compiling a great resume by this point with only the close loss to Story against him.

 

GSP dominates Nick Diaz to win a clear and comprehensive decision as he proves why so many people think he's the goat

 

Henderson again wins a razor close decision over an ATG in Gilbert Melendez... Maybe it's time to start giving this guy his credit.

Although I can't help thinking he didn't deserve to win any of his big fights apart from Nate Diaz.

 

Jones vs Sonnen

Two drugs cheats go at it here but Jones has the better juice as he dominates and brutalises Chael.

 

Belfort vs Rockhold

Belfort proves he's an ATG with this win as he knocked out Rockhold in the first with a head kick ko

 

JDS vs Hunt

An absolute war as JDS wins the first two rounds dropping Hunt with head shots.

The third sees him knock Hunt out with a brutal head kick.

 

Velasquez vs Silva

Cain again dominates Silva to stake his claim as the best HW in the world and potentially ever

 

Werdum submits Nogueira I'm a fight that's hard to give him much credit in due to how faded Nog now is.

 

Evans vs Henderson.

Two old faded warriors duke it out and the spoils go to Evans.

 

Silva at this point is considered untouchable.

He has demolished all comers, has mastered his ground game and is the best striker in MMA history.

Undefeated Weidman followed the Sonnen play book and power wrestling him to take the first round.

The second sees Silva stuff a takedown and evade a big head kick attempt, he's trying to goad Weidman into making a mistake, instead Weidman keeps his composure and throws a bug combination, Silva hands down tries to slip ever punch, he fails.

Weidman knocks out the legend that is Anderson Silva.

 

Johnson taps out Morada to remain the only ever FLW champ.

 

Aldo vs Korean Zombie

Korean Zombie us doing his thing marching forward landing big shots of his own, but he throws a fully committed combination and dislocated his shoulder. Aldo capitalises and forces the stoppage.

 

McGregor vs Holloway

McGregor tears his ACL in the first round but has enough of a speed advantage to out strike Max for a close but clear victory. No one knew how big of a win this would end up being.

 

Overeem vs Brown.

You'd be forgiven for think Overeem was finished after this fight.

Again he dominates the early going but again he gasses and gets caught and knocked out.

 

Pettis vs Henderson.

Henderson has racked up a great resume with a series of close distance victories.

Here he rematches the man who beat him in the WEC and here his reign finally comes to an end as Pettis taps him out with an armbar
