    Kessler v ANY GOOD 168 -175 lber.

This would provide a good baseline calibration for all those (on here and elsewhere) who don't understand the relative merits of some boxers they have not seen much of.

If Kessler were to demolish Dawson prior to the potential Calzaghe-Hopkins fight, I think one of the two pugilists might find an excuse to scuttle theat fight.

I really like this list, and we are likely to see many of these fights. However, as far as topping 07 some don't make the cut. Pavlik/Abraham is a blow out: I'm quite serious when I say I don't think Abraham can win a single round against Pavlik and he won't see the end of the 5th. Forest/Spinks is spelled BORING, but it would help clear things up a bit at 154. I really like the idea of Hatton/Malinaggi. Paulie gets a lot of flack on this board, but the kid is fast, slick, and tough as nails. Hatton would be in his face all night, but I don't think he could knock Paulie out. Good fight. Pac and Guzman would be real good, and of course Mayweather/Cotto just seems like one of those fights that MUST happen.

  5. Hopkins- Calzaghe- i think Cali wins..

Pavlik-Taylor 2, is one of those rare fights where the sequence can match the original-Pavlik on points or late KO..

    Floyd-Cotto- Floyd wins by KO..

Nic Valuev- Wlad Klits- Valuev's size would pose major problems for Wlad but now it's a toss up. 50-50..

Hatton - Cotto would be a total brawl.

David Haye - Odlander Solis would also be good fun, just to see haye avenge his world championship defeat and spark out the fat german ****.

Darnell Wilson - Herbie Hide. This would be a total war, Wilson has equal power and a much better chin, Hide is very quick and has a lot of experience.

Calzaghe - Hopkins. Will be interesting to see if Hopkins can exploit the holes in Joe's game.

Hatton - Witter. Just to see witter get nailed.

Amir Khan - Michael Katsidid. Could be an absolute war, but Khan isn't ready for it yet.

Tua - Peter. Would be either a slugfest or a snoozefest.
