For me...There were several fights in the Mid 80's and the Early-Mid 2000's that NEVER happened...that would have been EXPLOSIVE for Boxing, solidified a fighters position for HOF status, and could have made some fighters go from UNDER-RATED to STARDOM!!!

    Mid-Late 80's
From 1986-1989 Julio Cesar Chavez was fighting around 130lbs to 140lbs. During that Time Frame...There were several TOP-NOTCH Contenders that would have been GREAT FIGHTS:
    Chavez vs Ray Mancini
    Chavez vs Greg Haugen
    Chavez vs Vinny Pazienza
    Chavez vs Buddy McGirt

    Mid 2000's
Oscar De La Hoya and Felix "Tito" Trinidad are indeed considered ATG...as well as they should be!!! But IMO, there is one fighter that is a BLATANT OMISSION from their resumes VERNON "THE VIPER" FORREST!!!

Vernon Forrest kinda' put himself in a bad position losing to Ricardo Mayorga twice...But I find it kinda' strange that both Oscar and Tito found their way to fight Mayorga...But not Forrest:think!!!

And also...two fights that should have been made...but never happened:
Oscar De La Hoya vs Winky Wright
    Felix Trinidad vs Shane Mosley

Also...People think that Shane Mosley is a legitimate threat to Floyd Mayweather at 147lbs....personally, I think Floyd would DUST Mosley with ease!!! But the so-called attempts for a Molsey vs Mayweather fight at 130lbs and/or 135lbs in 99'-00' would have been SPECTACULAR!!!
    But again...NEVER HAPPENED!!!

Now I know the Business of Boxing is all based of politics, bad promoting,
and where can the dollars be made...etc. And there are probably LEGITIMATE reasons why these and other BIG NAME fights were never made!!!

But these are just some of the fights I would have LOVE TO HAVE SEEN!!!

    Whats yours!!!

Pacquaio VS Campbell at lightweight for what would have been for the undisputed lightweight championship of the world.

Arthur Abraham vs Pavlik. I wanted AA to prove that he is better than Pavlik.

Williams vs Pavlik or Williams Vs any top welter. (after the Quitanta loss he lost alot of drawing power.)

Calzaghe Vs Any of the super six.
