Danny "Little Red" Lopez vs Alexis Arguello at 126. El Flaco was a little green as WBA champ at 126, and when Danny was WBC champ he was an absolute beast. Arguello moved up to 130 about 1 month after Lopez won his version of the title. The timing was all wrong. AA was struggling with weight, so he was pretty much forced to move up. It's just one of those great fights that didn't happen.

:good That was the first fight that came to mind.

Also I read recently that at one time there was talk of Felix Trinidad vs Terry Norris and even Chavez vs Norris at a catchweight. Two fights I would have loved to have seen.

Riddick Bowe-Lennox Lewis (I believe now that Bowe feared Lennox and ducked him)
Tito Trinidad-Ike Quartey (Oscar and his $$$ got in the way)
Jose Luis "Maestrito" López vs Oscar, Tito
    Roberto Duran-Antonio Cervantes
    Roberto Duran-Aaron Pryor
    Eusebio Pedroza-Salvador Sanchez
    Ernie Shavers-George Foreman

    Also, Oscar vs Kostya

    and

Floyd vs Kostya (I remember how respectful of Tzyu Floyd was in the early 2000s, I believe Floyd planned to have Kostya as his defining moment. Sadly, Ricky Hatton spoiled his plans, and one of my dream fights. That would have been a hell of a fight)
