What fights were a little too violent?

I felt uncomfortable watching Perez v Abdulasamov from home. Obviously something wrong with his body language between rounds.

    Very sad.

Jim McDonnell-Azumah Nelson Such bravery by McDonnell to carry on fighting against Nelson. Jim was more of a stylist and a puncher yet even with his eye closed tried to push Azumah back but to no avail. Should have been pulled out before the last round.

Jim McDonnell-Kenny Vice McDonnell´s 1st comeback fight after his brave loss to Azumah against dangerous puncher. Jim at his best would probably outbox Kenny without too many problems but this version of McDonnell was knocked out cold.

Many feared for his life especially with the knowledge of the talented Brian Baronet dying in a bout with Vice 2 years earlier.

Fortunately McDonnell eventually woke up, became a respected trainer of World Champ James DeGale and Tyson conqueror Danny Williams.

Dicky Eklund vs Alan Clarke was unnecessarily violent. The ref really messed up here.

Ray Mercer stopping Tommy Morrison was also pretty damn violent to watch.

Manilla for me. Two men who were really fighting on heart and courage for the championship of each other. Neither man would have shipped the punishment they took that night earlier in their careers. Their reflexes were just shot enough that they couldn't get out of each others way, but their speed was just enough that they could catch each other again and again. The near room to dyin' right enough.. .

Trinidad-Vargas is probably my most rewatched fight ever (along with Corrales-Castillo 1), but it went on too long. Jay Nady should have stopped it after the 2nd KD in the 12th. Vargas was done and barely had a clue what was going on.

Letting it go on after that was a big bozo no-no.

Whatever you do don't watch Nelson / De Leon.

Brutal match with frenzied action, only for hardcore gore fans.

    The second half is crazy!

Always found Meldrick Taylor v Chavez a really tough watch. Obviously the end was heartbreaking for Taylor, but he took a lot of accumulative damage along the way also

Mike Perez vs Magomad Abdusalamov ( spelling. ) That one should have been stopped sooner. Abdusalmov ended up in a coma that ended his career
