Sung Kil Moon was as violent of a fighter as you can get.

Norman v. Santillan was criminal. The ref and fans wanted it to be Santiallan’’s official arrival but it was obvious that it wasn’t after a few rounds. The ref let him hang around catching headshots until the later rounds anyway as if he had money on it.

Holyfield-Bowe I was as brutal a fight as I've seen.

Agreed on Williams and Jack, that was almost a killing, add Ingo and Patterson I , where the ref could have gotten Floyd killed

The fights that resulted in serious injury or death would be the answer for fights that are "too" violent.

You can comfortably watch Ingo/Machen or something like it because you know the guy came out OK. But it's not entertaining to watch a brutal slugging match that ends with someone dead or like Gerald McClellan.

Bouts are stopped much sooner than they were before.

Not entertaining? So you were not loving the action until it was obvoius?

Sad but true, it's human nature.

I dunno about watching Ingo - Machen comfortably, same thing stands for something like Ali - Shavers. Just cause guys are still alive at the end of the day doesn't mean that it's not any more devastating. When a line is crossed, brutality is not entertaining anymore.
