Cotto PBF retired after he beat Oscar

#48 ducked PBF he didn't want to test and ran off to fight Clottey only to test years later. You don't test back in 2009 but agree to test in 2015 #48 ducked PBF even roach admitted the fight didn't happen back then because of them not wanting testing.

Oscar No one wanted to see the Oscar rematch man it was laughed at on here when it was talked about. Much like the #48 rematch is.

Zoo PBF couldn't fight Zoo in 2005 he lost to Hatton and retired not to mention they fought on rival networks.

"I never spoke to Arum about or pushed for a fight with Mayweather at anytime." - Miguel Cotto

    in an interview with ESPN

Bob arum said himself that cotto was not ready

I don't think he could've faced a prime Oscar and Shane, but Pac, definitely. Cotto too but considering his beef with Top Rank... remember Cotto's team and Arum didn't want to match them up. Margarito would help, Williams too. I doubt Tszyu would have. Sergio would've been big, especially after he KO'd Williams.

    True.

People say Floyd hasn't fought an ATG in their primes. Well, other than Pacquiao, what ATGs were there?

Margarito? Cintron? Williams? Are you really going to say those guys are ATGs?

Floyd would never have been able to fight a prime DLH. Here's the Ring top 10 rankings from 1998 to 2006.

Notice anything? DLH was always several weight classes above Floyd. So, the fight couldn't have happened.

No one really. He didn't have prime ATGs in his weight class when he was there. Not his fault.

I think Floyd should have fought Hatton at 140, and Casamayor or Freitas at 130.

Maidana offered a much closer fight than DLH and the decision was disputed, Mayweather beat Oscar 8-4. 7-5 at worst so yes, people did want to see Maidana 2 because he got a bit of a beating for half of the fight and it could've been 115-113 either way.

Um no, at the worst it was 115-113 Mayweather.

But 116-112 is what most have it, some 117-111.

Sure they did compare the numbers PPv wise that should tell you all you need to know ..No one even wanted Maidana at first most people voted Khan ..Its laughable to suggest people wanted to see Mayweather against a plodder in Maidana over Oscar Delahoya ..

Pacquiao in 2009 why didn't he fight him then?

Mosley politics kind of got in the way. But Floyd could have done it. Mosley was A side. Floyd should have accepted a 75/25 split and kicked his ass.

Floyd could have gone back down to 130 and fought Morales when he was there.

He seemed to squeeze his way around so many fighters. He's fought three ATG level fighters before. All of them were either blown up in weight or past their primes or a combination of both.
