It would be just typical of Khan to pick on blown up superfeathers like Floyd, JMM and Pacquaio

    1. Marquez thrashes Pacquiao then retires.

    2. Mayweather sparks Ortiz in the mid rounds after winning every round.

    3. Pacquiao loses his comeback to Mallinaggi.

    4. Khan knocks out Maidana in 3 on 12th Dec.

    5. Khan faces Mayweather in 2012 and stops him in 5 after dominating every minute of every round.

    6. Khan PFP number 1.

Khan is several years away from possibly being thought of as being P4P #1

He still has many years ahead of him!

absolutely. The answer is - by making a substantial career out of continually fighting the best opposition avaliable to you and preferably looking better and a more accomplished fighter each time.
You gotta remember that little Manny was a world champion before he was even on the radar of a lot of people and not even half the fighter he is today, but he was still a hell of an exciting guy to watch. As he's moved up he's continually fought the best at the weights he's moved into - whilst those guys were still competative, and looked better and better.
Floyd gets there because he's looked good beating everyone he's faced and on the assumption that he would also against those that he didn't.

So the answer is probably 6+ years of hard campaigning.

  7. not considering a washed up judah to be a decent name to have on your cv

take out the young hungry guys like:alexander, bradley and peterson then go for one of the big 2

Look better than Pac against Mosley and Margarito, look better than PBF does when and if Khan fights Ortiz. An emphatic win against against Guerrero or Rios would be a good start as would a win vs with Berto or Bradley. Judah was a first step, needs to avoid rematch with Maidana or Alexander won't move forward with those guys.

I think Pac and JMM are done personally, have to see what Floyd has left.

He'd have to beat Bradley, if this fight doesn't happen it will alway's hurt Khan. I don't care who's fault it is for the fight not happening, because if it doesn't and Khan move's up, people will alway's say "well he never fought Bradley at 140lbs".

After that, move upto 147lbs, take on some solid contender's, Ortiz & co and not an old Shane Mosley or a rematch with Malignaggi @ 147.

After that, take on the big two...

Not that i believe any of this will happen, i just think it's what he's got to do

Khan becoming p4p nĂºmero uno relies on others failing, can't see it happening.
Wins against Bradley and Mayweather still wouldn't do it.

Without beating Pac or Floyd it will be almost impossible for Khan to be considered above them unless they lose badly in a fight they can't avenge.
