Of course I am the new kid on the block who has read every thread on here about Floyd Mayweather and watches all of his fights, becuase I am a fan of the "sweet science" of boxing...uh...not Just Knockouts. I think we should start a "What Floyd cant Do" consisting of the things posters here say he cant do. Rules: You must use the posters name, date, and copy the thread word for word. (shouldnt be hard with the copy function.) There are a few people on here saying that Floyd couldnt knock out Hatton and now clowns are saying Floyd will not be good until he beats Cotto who by the way is a bigger slower version of Hatton. I'll start it out "I think Hatton will win this fight. I think it will be by TKO, late in the fight. Its going to be bloody and brutal and were going to see Floyd lose his first fight. This fight is like good vs. evil. And knowing how evil usually wins, theres this other notion that Floyd, the bigger man in this one, dominates Hatton with his jab and combinations that see him beat Hatton to the punch all night. - Frank Gonzales 12-06-07" :bart:bart:bart:bart:bart:bart:bart:bart:bart:bart
Kings Randsom : 12/9/07 The younger brother of Ricky Hatton, who is a well respected welterweight (with 33 wins from 37 fights) has stated that he thinks he should be given a shot at Floyd. Following in the Klitschko brothers footsteps with Vitali's demolition job on Sanders, this would certainly pose a serious challenge to Floyd. Should Floyd give Matthew Hatton a shot? Would Matthew Hatton be able to raise his game and cause Mayweather the most serious challenge of his career?
More goodies... Hopkins recently quoted in the media, stated: "Ricky Hatton is like the Energiser Bunny. I am looking for some blood from Ricky early on, but at the end of the day he out-hustles Mayweather for a unanimous decision." Hopkins added: "Ricky Hatton is not just a slugger. There's a difference between a guy who is going to put pressure on you and is willing to take four or five punches to give one or two. "Ricky Hatton is willing to be that slugger but he is also willing to throw punches in bunches and that is rare in boxing today. Henry Armstrong fought that way. That is dangerous guy because you can't keep him off you." Hopkins questioned Mayweather's hunger and feels it is a fight Mayweather could lose. "It is a fight for Ricky to win and Floyd to lose," Hopkins added: "Everybody knows Floyd can fight, but how do you still fight like a hungry man when your refrigerator's full?" Bernard Hopkins - 12/06/07 (Easy KNOCK YOUR OPPONENT OUT and go home to your FULL REFRIDGERATOR) Ha Ha Ha!!! :-( :-(
Another goodie.... "I figured this would happen, he (Mayweather) would either lose, or he would be at his best (signifying he would win) - Emmanuel Steward right after the fight. So let me get this straight Manny, either Floyd would lose or win!? Ha Ha This is coming from the great trainer who said Floyd was overhyped.
