Manny did it four years ago even before he fought Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya. After Pac beat JMM early of 2008 experts had him in the top 50 ATG ranking which Floyd currently sits. This fact cannot be disputed. Catching Pac this late in Floyd's career is like an obese person racing Usain Bolt in a 100 dash.*

Manny does have a better resume than Floyd. . . Barrera twice, Morales THRICE, and Marquez THRICE. . .

But Floyd does have a better resume than some give him credit for. . .

Now let me give you an honest post with your ***** ass. Its clear you are implying that Floyd waits for guys to get old. I am assuming you are talking about guys like Oscar and Mosley. Your post actually shows that you are just a hater bc any real fan of the sport knows that Its not Floyd's fault that he fought them when he did.

Oscar was the top dog and biggest draw in the sport. He is the one to say when and where he and Floyd fought. Floyd was trying to fight him and Mosley for years bc that is where the money was.

Did Mosley turn Floyd down in 99 to fight Oscar? Yes he did and he should have bc Oscar was the cash cow and the money and star power came with that fight. Every person on this site would have turned Floyd down back then to fight Oscar.
Did Mosley turn Floyd down again after he beat Vargas? Yes and its on video. Now we can end this thread.

First 4 post are done by Floyd fans and are full of hate. Of course they can't dispute it cause it's a fact.

everyone knows pac has the better resume and ranks higher than floyd except his own fans. even floyd thinks that what pac is doing now at WW is the equivalent of him knocking out heavyweights. lol

Floyd certainly has a better resume than some give him credit for. And history will be kind to Floyd.

There is also the argument that Manny is 4-4 out of the 8 matches your proposed, with one of the wins coming against a shot Barrera and the other 2 wins coming against a 'drained' Morales (who had already beaten Pac) following a dominant loss to a guy named Raheem.

But that's nit-picking, and anyone can nitpick a fighters resume. Just as many do to Floyd's (and countless others).

IMO, history will remember Floyd as the greater P4P fighter.

If they somehow do end up getting it on next May, then there'd be no doubt.

Floyd recognize Pac's greatness but his fans cannot.

No one can deny Pac's greatness.

But certain over-zealous pac fans overrate just how great he is.

He's a top 50 guy for sure. But so is Floyd.
