Well before i say anything, im 15 years old, 1.70-1.73m tall and i weight 59-61Kg, i train roughly 8 times a week. My question? What food i need to take in. I never gave much importance to what food i eat and from the research ive done it looks like food is a huge factor. I actually saw a quote "You are what you eat". I never eat junk food, personally don't like it. I eat alot of Low Gi food which is pretty good but i never gave importance to 'How many times a day' , 'How big the portions' , 'What type of food per meal'. I drink alot of water and milk. I mainly eat meat, pasta, rice as a main meal. Somedays i have lunch and dinner, other days i just have lunch and cereal at night. Vegetables are ok, dont love them but if its good for me i don't mind takin them in. Fruit wise im pretty fine, i do smoothies quite often (everyday unless i dont have fruits). My question is what should i eat at what time? If it could make it simple for you guys lemme help you: Before Training ( 2Hours - 4 Hours Before ) Food: Drink: Snack?: During Training ( 40 Mins Before - After I Finish ) Food?: Drink: Snack?: After Training ( 2Hours - 4Hours After ) Food: Drink: Snack?: Resting Day ( No Training ) Foods: Drinks: Snacks: Thanks alot for any help =):bbb
If you are staying at the weight you want, and eating 80-90% of the time clean foods, you feel like you are recovering ok for your sessions and you are sleeping ok, your mood is steady, then don't worry about other details with diet.
The session recovery is the tough part sometimes.. sometimes i am a bit tired for certain sessions.. took a day break gonna start back again tomorrow
Nobody can give you the perfect answer you are looking for and since you are 15 your body is different and still growing. It seems you are already doing a good job so far, just make sure to eat a balanced meal
