Right now I'm having a serving of baked beans with my lunch and a serving of lima beans at dinner, each with about 7 grams of fibre each. I usually have branflakes for breakfast giving me only about 3 grams of fibre. Any ideas for good quality, high fibre foods to eat?
kiwis, however needs to be eaten with the skin intact, this triples the fibre intake of the fleshy part which is already quite high, its around 9 to 12 grams of fibre for an average size kiwi, quick and easy to eat unlike other fibre foods
Fibres are in plants. If you want more fibres you should eat more fruits, vegetables, salads, beans, peas, potatoes, seeds, nuts, etc. Basically everything that comes off a plant. The added benefits will be the many other nutrients you also need. Why do you want more fibres anyway? Can't ****?
My stomach is usually bloated because of food (yes I'm sure its food) and i don't **** that regular either. I've also been told that it's great for losing weight and keeping lean. Thanks for the info mate.
You might want to add a pro-biotic or some type of naturally fermented food to your diet. Saurkraut, Asian pickles, etc... or natto if you are a REAL man! If you aren't dropping a deuce regularly you need to up the water, fiber, and get the good bacteria into balance.
put it this way its a hell of a lot easier than eating a bowl of allbran, they both have the same amount of fibre in them, its a lot more bitter than skin off but fibre seriously helps performance and cleans you out, a week of eating a kiwi a day and more veg you will feel great and your arse wont need stitches anymore
Oh and I wanted to say... Beans are full of fiber, but just about everyone I know says they plug you up something serious!
