What former champ dead or alive would you want to be trained by? There is a lot of talent or has been out there, let's hear which ones and why.

Call me crazy ...but I liked what I saw from Michael Moorer ...when he worked with Manny Pacquiao...until he got fired ...I think he could be a really good trainer if given another opportunity

I would pay a lot of money just to have Roger Mayweather work the pads with me .....and that’s not “ if I was a boxer “ ...that’s just me as a guy

Hector Camacho or Johnny Tapia. They'd be mostly incoherent on the sleigh ride...and so would I.

    Blackburn
    Benton
    Ezzard
    Pep
    Elorde
    Archie
    Pernell

Combine them all and give me Roy Jones' genetics and 'vitamins', I'm sure I would find my way to some title or other.

My Grandad, Bert Gilroy a great career and after boxi g himself he coached & trained such fighters as Cowboy McCormack, Walter McGowan, Johnny Caldwell and other lesser lights.

We immigrated to Canada when I was a boy had we stayed on Scotland, there would have been a strong chance that I might have been a fighter..

I was a good athlete, Runner, Ice Hockey, Football/Soccer.

Who knows, but defo Big Bert!

I think my pick would be Bill Miller. But I think the correct answer is the man who would care and give you the attention you require and not be a cheerleader or make it about themselves. The man willing to pass you on If need be the guy to tell you, you can't an honest, caring, educated man with a small ego. A rare combo in any field.

When I was really young we had a silly boxfit program in high school for a day hosted by a fighter whose last name escapes me It was a troubled youth recess thing. If not for a very, very poor family and an ever growing list of new homes I would have been training at 14. He took a few of us to private sessions for real boxing and he wanted me to train with him after school hours at a youth centre but as always it never manifested. I too was an athletic kid I won state shotput, district 100m, discus and high jump as well as a few "Junior powerlifting comps" Fake meets using machines instead of free weights lol it was as lame as you think.
