Rigondeaux would need the healing time if he ended up with a broken jaw like Scott Quigg. Rigondeaux was dropped twice by a Japanese fighter who already had 4 losses and 2 draws on his record FFS!
Blizzyblizz, when Fluid was using the "not enuff money" excuse to not fight someone, you were claiming he was, a "financial genius". So why do you have that double standard, now? Is it maybe because you don't like Frampton's skin?
He scurd but he also has a point but also you should consider blaming Mayweather Framton learned well from him
It irks me that the wee fella and Frampton will not admit that they don't fancy the fight because there is a more than good chance he loses to Rigo. Also them saying he isn't a money fighter, well that's true when he's fighting the guys he's been facing recently but as a few posters have said Frampton v Rigo in Belfast does big money. Rigo may be better but Frampton is the name fighter and would still make excellent money. Deep down they know that it's not about the money it's about the fact that they will probably take a loss and that derails Framptons "superstar" status.
Everyone here wants to love Frampton including me, but you can't talk wreckless about another fighter who is the best in his class and a pfp entrant. Just say maybe in the future. It reminded me of when Kostya wouldn't rematch Judah because of his mouth. I couldn't wait until Kostya lost. And Cool Vince made me proud. That is a no no when it comes to this sport. Never bad mouth a fighter that you aren't going to fight because eventually your reasoning will be put on blast. **** a business decision. This is what's wrong with boxing. Canelo, Framp, don't believe that they can beat GG or Rigo. WTF...
Agreed! But negotiations did not break down due to money! Frampton is flat out saying no to the fight without any talks being done! Big difference!
I see why everyone wants to see the the battle of the Jackals but lets not forget that Rigo couldn't have been quieter when the man at 126 called him out. Loma came a calling and Rigo didn't answer.
As a Frampton fan I can still say definite duck. True Rigo doesn't bring much to the table and is dangerous but surely you want to beat the best. Lets not forget that Quigg ducked Rigo for years as well, taking his belt out outside the ring then big Eddie dancing around the true chamption for years
