Seriously? A long time before the fight was signed...? Froch mentions in the interview that Groves is 22 at the time, that's before the DeGale fight. Froch is talking about the potential of an up and coming young 9 or 10 fight prospect, 3 perhaps closer to 4 four years ago - he's saying things like 'he's got all the tools to go far' etc. Didja even watch it?
Yes Groves was 22 & before the DeGale fight, but Groves hasn't exactly got worse since then, he's only improved. Froch was impressed by his confidence, skills & power & that was when Groves was still green you twat.
