I expect more of the same from fight 2, why change what they know already works. Fury will use a combination of jabs and feints to try and back Wilder up, once he has Wilder reacting to his left, he''l try and use it to set up the right. He won't open up too much early and will basically take a measured approach for a round or two while he sees what Wilder brings this time. But he will try and back him up from the start. What may alter Fury's strategy is if Wilder comes in fighting differently. From what I've seen of Wilder in training I think instead of having Wilder lean back or move back from the jab, he's going to try and come under the jab and work the body. If that happens I expect Fury to utilise his weight advantage and push down on Wilder's neck with his forearm and drape his body over Wilder and wear him down. He'll also look to push his head down into uppercuts, he's done this before when Wilder has come in low and Hill will no doubt reinforce this tactic as part of the Kronk style. Wilder will be smothered and manhandled and eventually be forced back again. Once that happens Fury reverts back to the feints, jab and traps for the right hand and we see a repeat of fight 2. Wilder will last a few more rounds than last time but he'll get stopped again.
If he comes to fight this time out, hes going to get knocked out.wilder is in phenomenal shape, ready to put European Side Boxing on its axis. This content is protected
If I was Fury I'd box smartly for 4 rounds and surprise Wilder by not coming straight forward and brawling the whole fight like Fury said he would. Fool Wilder into thinking it's going to just be a boxing match and in around the 5th round turn the burners on Wilder and watch him crack. Make Wilder feel like his training has actually did him good Then take the wind right out of his sails
He picks up right where he left off. Fury learned in the 12th round of the 1st fight Wilder has no plan b if he gets walked down.
Will be looking for oppertunities to go forward and maul wilder from early. The problem for wilder is he kept giving away oppertunities last time. Furys mind works too quick for him. Hes fine if things are going to the plan tactics they,ve been giving but his minds not quick enough to react to problems. The way i see it is malik needs to have taught wilder something to stop fury coming forward like he did last time. If he can do that it changes the dynamic of the fight otherwise will be more of the same.
He will try do the same. To put wilder on his backfoot. If he succeeds, at least during the first half of the fight, he wins the fight.
This is how I think the fight goes down. Also Fury will be wary not to walk into a counter right hand (Wilder doesn't throw them often, but he has done in the past and they've tended to end the fight in his favour).
One can seriously argue Fury has utterly dominated Wilder in both fights sans the 12th round of the 1st fight. Fury KNOWS Wilder ain't sh*t going backwards. So I expect more of the same.
I was saying in a different thread, Wilder landing a big shot early can be key for him to stop Fury's aggression.
i think it will look in between the 1st and the second...fury will take it to wilder but box but no pitter patter bull**** like the first.
He will be cautious for about a minute to see if Wilder tries to rush him. After that he will start walking Wilder down and start punishing him with the jab and right hands. Wilder has a puncher’s chance, probably the best in history, but he will lose his confidence once Fury’s punches start landing. All Fury has to do is repeat what he did in the 2nd fight and be wary of the occasional Wilder power shot.
