    Recently for me.

I was always interested in the big HW fights, but never the lower weights. Then I remember ODLH v Floyd. I'd heard of ODLH so I assumed he was big favourite, never heard of Floyd! :))) Anyway a friend I was with laughed it off and said FM would win etc etc etc. I said no chance.

We all know what happened. Anyway I was intrigued by this undefeated FM so began investigating and here I am now.

What got me into boxing was that I simply got my ass whipped in the 7th grade. In my band class I met this guy and he boxed for all his life and I joined the club. Best thing that has ever happened to me.

My father boxed for the marine corps, trained with Basillio's trainer in New York when he was young, a friend of his father. I was also into martial arts, traditional external styles when I was young. I remember watching Rocky I and then some Hearns and Leonard fights when I was a little kid, liked them, but was more into the early UFCs in highschool (like 2,3,4, etc.) Then I went away to college and could not find a martial arts studio or training place I thought was worth my time, so I joined the boxing team. Loved watching guys like Mosley and De La Hoya at the time, but Barrera and Morales really kept my interest going, as well as Mayweather Corrales, pure class that night.

Then I moved to Vegas and continued to box and met all the fighters I idolized so much. Now I really only occasionally watch the UFCs but always catch the boxing matches, tired of watching wrestlers bleh. My swarming style is fast and I am unusually large and strong for a 128 lb fellow, but I bust up pretty easy like a lot of white guys with big noses and my defensive reflexes have some off nights.

    You're crazy yo!

Seriously, I hope he bounce back..He seriously needs to work on his defense...He needs to learn how to evade punishment. He has a tall lanky body that allows him to box from the outside!

Got he gotta get it together!

I love doing boxing and I love watching it. Mike Tyson was probably my first "favourite fighter", though I don't identify with his style except when I'm shadowboxing in the dark. I prefer watching a pure boxing match than a brawl, but Tyson... did "war" so much better than anyone ever has.

Going to watch a "Crown Affair" with my father. A seemingly out of shape Michael Dokes finding not only a second but a third win to Draw Mike Weaver over 15 Rounds.

And then the moment that did it for me "1:30 to go one more and he's going to go down.............HE's OUT OF IT, Larry Holmes is out of it"

He never went down nor has my interest in boxing!

ever since De La Hoya-Chavez i had heard people talk about Boxing, i would rather watch Lucha Libre, but would watch the big fights, as i got older(12 years old) living in a place where you had to fight for any reason at least once a week, i started looking into Boxing, Kick Boxing and Thai Boxing, to not get my ass beat by the bigger kids, but it wasn't till i was 14 when i fell in love with the sport, man i used to watch football, basketball, and american football, now i dont give a rats ass about those gay ass sports hahaha! man **** em all, if its not Boxing **** you dont talk to me about gay ass american football, or gay baseball. Boxing will be the **** i follow till i die.
