    He was a tall 147 lbs. Ya know, about his ring name, I'm not even sure. His one brother used the name Vic Woody & my Dads was something like that. Lousy that he's gone now & so are all the stories & memories.

    I'll go get another pic of him. He was a nasty SOB with a bad temper.

    Believe or not, I started paying attention to boxing when I watched some Shannon Briggs fights. Then I started to watch a bunch of old and new fights until I tried the sport itself by training.

    It got me hooked and I lost interest in kickboxing and MMA after that. I think the really deep talent pool in boxing is one of the factors I enjoy this sport so much.

    I always Loved watching Ali and Foreman..

    But in September 2002 when I watched De La Hoya v Vargas I was on the edge of my seat and I've been hooked eversince, watching every fight in every division I can find! Just love it, UFC has nothing on Boxing I think! Boxing over UFC anyday...
