He was clearly not strong enough at 147, and he wasn't dedicated enough to train between camps to grow some extra mass.

Even spzilka beat wach in Poland. Some graveyard. Was happy taking Perea on the same shows too

Had to take Bakole to France because you burnt bridges With the only promoter that actually was willing to sign him. As he’s a b side and a dangerous fight he’s now being avoided hence why he needed a promoters backing.

Neither really just being objective and the consensus opinion seems to be to slate them despite in reality then putting on the best boxers and shows. Was simply highlighting to billy that he does the same thing he’s calling out.every single promoter and manager in boxing does it.

He'll never give you a genuine answer mate, but when you know, you know, just stick him on ignore. He must be in the running for Russian Propaganda Minister if his gig with Eddie Hearn falls through.

My personal favourite was him including 4 women and Josh Warrington in a list of 'the worlds best fighters' just because they're under the Matchroom banner. Creep.

    William,

    with respect,

Khan had GBP and then Haymon feeding him the fights and fattening his record. Do you really think Zeek wouldn't have done a number on Paul Malignaggi or an old Zab, or that he couldn't have handled Lamont Peterson, Devon Alexander or that pre-Oxnard version of Chino?

Brook doesn't have the quantity of Ws over faded names and stylistically favorable B guys that Khan does, but he does have a single better W than any on Khan's record.

He was always a better, much more rounded and more savvy boxer than Amir, who was overly dependent on elite speed.

It was a very good fight, I agree.

Amir and Devon Alexander got Chino at a point in his career more favorable to them. He was plateauing during the eighteen-month stretch in which he fought them both. The savvier Garcia version who had been taught to make traps and set up his attacks more would probably have stopped Amir mid-late and given Alexander a much more gruelling battle (though Devon was tough enough to last the distance in that kind of a situation).

Still, it's probably Khan's best win. It's certainly in his Top 4, with his points dominations of Kotelnik, Collazo and Alexander being the others I'd consider.

Huge balls on Khan to hang in there until the end and end with that late flurry, really good to watch. The knockdown at the end of the first was beautiful and credit to Maidana for getting up and continuing to the end.

I saw a post-retirement video conference call with Amir a few months back where even he expressed bewilderment at having survived that beating he took in the later rounds.

I recall that "late flurry", where he suddenly came alive after spending the first half of the 11th in survival mode and almost made a case for having turned the round in his favor.

He was in the process of staging a similar rally while dazed in the 4th round with Danny Garcia, before a clubbing hook to the top of the head put him down again.

Khan definitely had guts. He did bail out of the Crawford bout later in his career, but wrote over that anomaly by pridefully taking his lumps from Kell in his final appearance.
