I couldn't possibly rate anyone that coasted against Baldomir.

Here are some fighters I don't like watching too much. Style wise, not for me.

Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson, Rocky Marciano, Julio Cesar Chavez, George Foreman, Kostya Tszyu, Felix Trinidad, Nigel Benn.

I much prefer these types. Larry Holmes, Pernell Whitaker, Bernard Hopkins, Thomas Hearns, James Toney, Juan Manuel Marquez, Lennox Lewis, Salvador Sanchez, Roberto Duran, Donald Curry.

Wlad and Vitali. Don't like watching Lewis or current Mayweather. Don't like lockridge's style.

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    Bernard Hopkins
    Evander Holyfield

Those are the ones that stand out for me. Klitschko's style is just so boring and safety first, and you just know he could easily knock out many of his opponents much earlier than he does if he didn't fight so conservatively. Floyd is an overrated Cherry Picker who's talents vastly exceed his actual legacy. His best win is over a very faded DLH who he still dropped 5 rounds to. Bernard is just a very dirty, ugly to watch fighter who's even added some acting theatrics into his game that make him plainly insufferable. He's really overrated, too- Pre-Tarver, his best wins are Trinidad and DLH, both much smaller men moving up to meet him. Hopkins did not beat a single great or even very good middleweight in their prime. And Holyfield? His best weapon was his headbutt, he juiced, and is quite overrated. Best cruiserweight ever? Yes. But the way some people have him as a top 7 or 8 all time heavyweight rather frequently bothers me. He doesn't even belong in the top 10.

Bobbing and weaving, mainly behind the left hook. Not great on the outside and not much variety.

Yeah, I can understand his style isn't quite to your liking, but still, boring? The man was all fight. I guess i'm just making a distinction between being aesthetically displeasing and being outright boring. For instance, I'd much rather watch someone execute perfect punching technique rather than throw around some cringeworthy swings, but I'm not going to go call some sloppy slugfest boring. Ugly, sure, but not boring. Joe actually bores you in the ring?

Yeah......Because he comes forward and looks to get inside throwing lots of punches, doesn't make him exciting in my book. I just find him boring as hell to watch.

I could also ask why someone would find Whitaker boring. My response would be....How can you find him boring when he's boxes behind the jab, being busy, using the ring, with superb defense and showing tremendous variety.

People who find Whitaker boring just suck in general, though. :good

Anyway, Joe Frazier painted as boring is a tough one to accept, Rob. There are certain styles I prefer to watch, but the only thing that really bores me in boxing is sustained lulls in action. Frazier was one of those guys who never, ever allowed the action in a fight to let up. To each his own though, my friend, to each his own.
