..........We all have some blind spots. I, for one, have never seen Joe Brown or Vicente Saldivar. There are many others of course, but these are two I should have seen by now.

Please share in my shame and list yours.

I got some Joe Brown fights lol.

Got that recorder finger out yet lol.

I have not seen John L Sullivan,
    Sam McVey
Most of the early welterweights/middleweights period, 1900's or so.

I have to think about this,

...........Nope; still a low-tech mind yer dealing with here.

One could be excused for not seeing some of the real old-timers, but I'm sure there are some more modern ones that are always talked about and for whom film is available that has bypassed us for some reason. That's more what I meant.

.............Right, but again, how much is available on them? I meant stuff that is around that you've somehow missed.

I believe the man is asking about those fighters who have WIDELY AVAILABLE footage but you have not seen them. Say for instance a guy like chris eubank, whose main career was filmed but may not have been seen by folks in the states.

i think sometimes we heree in the UK. (if you don't get chance to travel miss out on a lot of major fights on US tv.. HBO.. SET.. etc.. we don't get them..

I only saw a handful of Pacs fights until this year..

i used to read a lot about Paul Williams.. then got dissapointed when i actuaally saw he wasn't all that.

Bruno Arcari..Joe Becerra...is there any footage of Pete Herman out there? I'd dearly love to see him...Victor Galindez, that's one I'd like to fix.

There will probably be more, but off the top off my head...

Now most of these guys have footage.

Terry Mcgovern vs Joe Gans, well thats the ONLY footage I have of McGovern, ended in 1 round.

Tony Canzoneri vs Ross, McLarin, Kid Cholate, and Singer.

Battling Siki vs Carp and McTige

Well ok, some of these fights ant easy to get like Siki McTigue lol. But there out there.

Too many to name, although I try to view footage of every fighter I hear about, more extensively with those I'm interested in.

Few posters ever mention Joe Brown, s. Whatta sweet fighter he was, and a helluva guy: He gave me boxing tips as a kid.

Tried to emulate him, but was a pathetic immitation.
