what gym do you train at?

    I train here in los angeles in the san fernando valley, in a small little gym (very poor place). before that I went to a overpriced gym called LA boxing which was terrible and learned nothing, and did a little non serious boxing at a ymca type program when I was much younger as well.

    just curious where everyone else trains..

    i went to wildcard once, I was amazed at the facility and equipment, made my gym look sad. my gym has 2 bags and a ring just the 'bear necessities'. we got some gloves but not a single matching pair, when we spar we usually have on a 16oz and a 12oz glove lol. the gym has one headgear and one baseball catcher's mask lol, not fun to get hit with that one on.

    Sounds awful, LOL. I do consider myself blessed that I have had the chance to train at some of the best facilities in the world. Where do you live?

    Shamrock Boxing Club, Covington KY (just across the river from Cincinnati OH)

    Shamrock is the oldest operating boxing gym in KY and the Cincinnati Metro Area (over 40 yrs).

    We see the occasional boxing celebrity. Riddick Bowe last summer, Aaron Pryor stops in from time to time.
