    so basically you are saying that lil g and k2 are in the entertainment business like everyone else right?

    rosado was there because hell fight and make it look good and entertaining for the fans right? where someone like lara might make it tough and look ugly?

    thats why they fight rosados and wades....and not wards and laras....

    lara contractually obligated to showtime or something? i mean dom wade and khan just fought on hbo cards...both guys are haymon guys no?

    Yes, I deciphered that GGG is, in fact, in the entertainment business.

    More importantly, he and his team have, too.

    Lara doesn't grasp that, which is why he ruined his chance to gain fans on the big stage against Alvarez on the biggest platform he'll ever get. Andre was showing similar poor recognition of boxing as entertainment for fans, and it was his own career negligence that allowed a Kazakh nobody heard of to become more popular than him. To his credit, he seems to have recaptured some momentum back finally. I give him props for that.

    Back to Lara. Again, to emphasize: GGG fights his mandatories. If you buy that GGG is ducking him (I don't), Lara could take this out of GGG's hands entirely by simply beating Jacobs and exercising his mandatory challenge. That's it. We know you say tons of things about Golovkin, but even you know he'd never avoid a mandatory. Lara and Danny are both Haymon guys. Should be simple enough.

    Heck, he could schedule Jacobs after Vanes and be the first in line to challenge GGG after he knocks Canelo out.

    I think lara is playing the lil g role....where he wants to stay at 154 because its more suited to him...but hes willing to go up to 160 for big fish

    and I don't doubt lara would fight Jacobs given the opportunity...but that's kinda up to al...and I dunno if that makes any sense for al to give one of his fighters a loss when they aren't really in the same division

    just wondering why its ok for lil to fight a Rosado...and Lemieux to fight a tapia....but when talk of lara comes up its always "maybe he should get in line and get some wins at 160 first".....essentially what they should say is the truth..."hes a skilled boxer and isn't easy to find and hit....we want guys we can find and hit...we like to entertain"

    Is Canelo going to get dug out? Or is this just more Golovkin bashing?

    ShockMaster, stop wasting time, Go tweet Canelo and ask him if he has found his cobblers yet and beg him to fight the man a lot of you describe as a "bum" "fraud" "hype job" because if Golovkin is all those things then Canelo shouldn't be concerned with a minor weight rise :good

    canelo is in the entertainment business just like lil g....cotto is in that business as well

    they aren't always interested in fighting the best the world has to offer just like when lil g didn't wanna fight ward at 168 or lara....

    the point is....lil gs team told lara to go do something at 160 if he wanted a shot....that's what sanchez said......yet they had no problem with Rosado....and Lemieux was taking on a guy like tapia....so that's a pretty weak excuse from sanchez for not entertaining a fight with lara....

    im not ignoring....how did you come to that conclusion based on my last statement? because yer an idiot that wanted to....that's how

    Ill save that for a lara/vanes thread when I feel like it....this thread is about mws fighting jr mws....and then saying that jr mws need to do something at mw first because they are not basic stand in front of you sluggers that are there to get hit...

    Thanks for reminding us of the GREAT fighters that are ACTUALLY fighting this weekend, who've been almost completely overlooked due to the two HW's who are NOT fighting and the 2 MWs from whose promoters we're so anxiously waiting on word from.
