De la Hoya hands down... he came up short in most of his biggest fights, but he sought out the real challenges... which is more than I can say for Gayweather.

Oscar fought the best and beat them all up until his attempt at middleweight which signifies the end of his prime.

Even post prime he fought well vs hopkins, mayorga and floyd. He didn't look good against forbes nor pac but by then he was shot imo.

I agree, we can say that the only guy to clearly beat prime Oscar is shane mosley, you can make a case for whitaker and quartey but those were very close. sturm and hopkins gave him an realitycheck that he had no business at 154, he beat trinidad and mosley in the rematch, he was past prime when he lost to mayweather and screwed the weight up vs pacquiao.

I think the same, he lost vs trinidad, you cant run away a few rounds and expect too win a close fight.

    mosley > oscar

Oscar clearly won vs tito and mosley the second time. Even if he runs the last 3 rounds it doesnt matter when he already has a huge lead based on the first 9 rounds. Even if he would cry and run away with his back turned like a little girl in the last round he still would win based on his work before that happening.
