Didn't follow his career, he was once considered the best pure boxer in the sport by floyd mayweather, was also champion. Only fight I saw from him was vs pascal where he had pascal in trouble until the headbutt.

now he has close controversial lose to some journeyman ...

Seems to have mental issues. As if his confidence just fell apart.

Don't think he'll ever be a contender again

Winning against Hopkins is a curse. Kovalev should be nervous, something bad might happen.. lol

Andre Ward took his boxing soul and Adonis Stevenson annihilated the walking corpse he had become.

Has nothing to do with his victory over Hopkins. His lost to Ward destroyed him mentally and emotionally. He was thoroughly out classed. You just don't recover from that. When he quit, his boxing spirit was crushed. That is why he will never be able to come back, recover, and be a top player again.

I don't think he meant Hopkins ruined him, I think he just meant that ****ty things happen to people who beat Hopkins later down the line.

He almost got rid of Trout, but just isn't a good finisher. Returning home for a showdown with Hogan, or challenging King for the Aussie title would make the most sense.

...oh, sorry. I thought you meant the more relevant Dawson. :!:

thats about the long and short off it. Ward outboxed him and ko'd him out, he beat him up. ward isnt known for knocking people out, drained or not dawson shouldnt been smashed so easily. then 1 round ko. its over. kovalev would kill him aswell, as would beterbiev, pascal again, fonfara and a few others.

He needs to retire if he can't beat Karpency, he has no chance and I mean NO chance of surviving against most of the new crop of LHW's or CW's.

the fool drained himself to zombie-like state to fight Ward and has never been the same after that

he ****ed up with his weight badly and now he's paying the price, like with his punch resistance, which just dissapeared into thin air. It reminds me of RJJ, after screwing with his weight to fight at HW, a similar debacle ensued

btw, Ward's victory over Dawson means **** because anyone in that division could have beaten Zombie Dawson

Chad lost his interest in the sports. Its sad, the guys used to be among the best in-shape fighter in the world. Last fight dude came into the fight with man ****s and love handle looks he didn't wanna be there.

Look at his fight with Adamek if you haven't yet. You'll be amazed at how much he's regressed
