what happend to Kessler

In training videos we saw them train lateral and head movements pryer to the fight. I think they were aware of Frochs reach and good jab. I think it was a most to ad some new to Kesslers fightingstyle, and thats why he change his trainer.

As i watch the fight, i learned two things. Kesslers methal toughness is present, and Froch is a much better boxer than expected. I actually think they will do very well in the fights to come.

 

You guys are ****ing ******ed. Kessler's style has not changed... its just that he has fought Ward... akward as ****... and Froch...Akward as ****. If Kessler fought Andrade again tomorrow he would fight the exact same fight he did before. DIFFERENT STYLES REQUIRE ADJUSTMENTS!!!

 

I'm a Kessler fan and I've bet on him several times, but I have come to admit that he was overrated. Or at least, I overrated him.

 

I think some of you guys are over reacting. After the fight Mikkel said, "He doesn't fight good going backwards." The fight plan involved keeping Froch on the back foot as much as possible, and it worked. That doesn't mean Kessler has changed his style. It only means that he had a strategy against Froch that is a bit unusual for him.

 

Yes and the level of his comp has nothing to do with the way he looks??? Kessler fought 35 bums and a couple of old dudes before his fight with Calzaghe in his last two fights and his fight with Calzghe he faced the three best fighters he has even fought and his record is 1-2. And the 1 was very close.

Kessler was always over rated if we really looked at who he was fighting, he reminds me of Aclino Frietas. what was he 30-0 with 29 knockouts before he started fighting REAL fighters, then he could stop anybody, people started saying what happened to his power. Fighting bums makes good fighters seem like more then they are:good

 

Although you come across as a bit of a twat with the unneccarcary insult you are half right, but Kessler has lost a bit of accuracy and a bit of speed as of recent which does not help your cause when trying to fight awkward guys, once you lose these attributes it becomes difficult to outbox certain guys, thats why he brawled a bit against Froch and what he should have tried to do against Ward:good
