    He looked totally out of shape versus Povetkin, 10lbs+ overweight from his last fight. I don't think he trained at all against Povetkin. Was he paid to lose the fight?

    He hasnt been the same since Mago. Sadly, 2 careers ended that night for all intents and purposes.

    He was a hypejob who looked really good against another hypejob but he was destroyed against the first real opponent he faced and looked bad against the other two decent ones.

    Perez was really never that great. Just like boom boom, they might have improved to an extent in their prime if certain incidents didnt happen, but they definitely wouldn't have become some ATGS.

    I also think it has to do with not being able to train with Garcia though. I heard he had some visa problems or something similar to taht and he couldnt train in the US. If he stayed in the US who knows. He would have still lost to Povetkin but he would have lost even if the Mago **** didnt happen.
