He's misreading the article, the quote is from Manny Pacquiao. I'm not sure where the confusion stems from, though, since Pacquiao's name is right in front of the quote.
Does anybody honestly believe Pacquiao had the ability to dictate Oscar's weight on fight night during their contract negotiations? The whole basis of this thread is ludicrous.
Oscar never said anything about his weight on fight night except that he felt good. "I just couldn't get my punches off" was his excuse.
Well, he was 36 years old and was fighting at the elite level for 20 years. His size was supposed to win him the fight and all he did was get outboxed by manny from the outside. I don't even think I remember a clinch. Margo will get the same beating DLH did because of pacquiao's speed.
