what happened at cronulla ?

Manly's nightlife is chaos..... I would not be at all surpised if a few of those Pubs where in the top 10 for violent drunken assaults in NSW

Yeah, most trouble in Sydney you hear about in the news these days seems to involve a person or persons of Middle Eastern persuasion.

 

Its closer to Manly than South West Sydney :good

 

Not deros, just dumb pissed-up ****s who casn't handle their grog, and many of them are from out of the area anyway - you'll find most of the people who get arrested carrying on like pork chops in Manly are from outside the peninsular.

Lots of Lebs used to drive down to Manly on Saturday nights and cause trouble on the Corso but I think the local Islander population eventually scared them off.

 

You are probably right mate, id say a fair few of those drongos are from out this way. But it doesnt give Manly a good look

yes indeed, a couple of the pubs in Manly have been on that list and may still be on it, but as per my previous post it's usually idiots from outside the area that cause the toruble.

It's a bit like Kings Cross and Cronulla - beaches with nightlife attract people from all over the place - any sort of melting pot has it's trouble.

I rarely go out in Manly because there are too many idiots attrracted to the place.

Funny how you keep mentioning Manly, I know you're looking for me to bite but I don't need to defend a suburb that is 15kms from where I live...one would almost think you had taken offence to my mention of southwest Sydney you can't deny the number of gun and knife crimes are highest in that area :hey

 

Ok, ya got me, Im mentioning Manly to get a bite out of you but also for the reason that it is considered an upper class area but still has problems all over the place. Just ppointing out things aren't always cut and dry.

No denying what you say about South West Sydney and i don't take offence to it at all, Just saying ive never really had any problems out this way

 

No, it doesn't but then again Manly has always had it's seedy side - drugs etc. and the bikies have always had a presence there - I believe the Finks have a chapter over that way, and they try to comandeer certain pubs and clubs...I stay away from the place, plenty of nice clean beaches up my way and less people to deal with :good

 

Yeah I know mate, the media tends to beat up certain areas and paints them to be hell on earth, but I know that not everyone living in these areas is living in constant fear for their lives.

Manly is an expensive area real estate-wise, but buggered if I'd spend a couple of mill (if I had it) on an apartment down that way, too many idiots come to the area
