not in the last few years, its more the locals of the beaches, & let me tell you, it is rough, rowdy, i had ppl trying to pick me while i walked with my wife (who is australian) eating an ice cream, daytime manly is completely different to the nightime manly, drunk gronks everywhere

But yeah, there are a fair few mugs living in the Manly area too - I don't deny that.

You get all the pommy and Irish backpackers, then you get the locals - of which there is a scumbag/junkie/druggy element, and the Islanders, and the bikies, then you get the visitors from other suburbs...add a bit of alcohol and a long taxi rank queue after closing time and it's a recipe for disaster.

I grew up in Tamworth and the whole family is still there... miss that place sometimes. You know you had it good when you got a .22 rifle for your 11th birthday and shot a crow with it aged 12

yeah.lots of good people but unfortunately like many towns with a high aboriginal population bad though there is a few
decent ones they are made to look bad by the dickheads.i
felt safer in Bankstown than Taree.actually my sister moved to a place in the N.T called Katherine after the
big floods in 97 or thereabouts because their was plenty
of work and she reckons that place made Taree look like
paradise.

Over here in WA we have a place called northbridge and it has drugged up redneck/bogans glassing and bashing the **** out of each other and anyone who gets in there way.
