Lewis never referred to him in his retirement press conference.

Is there bad blood or is it a simple management fallout which happens in all walks of life?

Frank still mentions him in every interview he has, shows how long its been since he was a major player.

He spoke very highly of Lennox Lewis on boxnation awhile back, talking about sparring and his psychological strength.

Lennox Lewis was never intimidated by anybody.

There's a section about it in Maloney's book.

Fair play to him for walking away, having fought to so hard to sign him and then survive loads of other sackings amongst the Lewis team.

Even though I think he's been the architect of his own downfall in recent times he certainly did well with Lennox.

I think the Sutherland tragedy hit him very hard, and then losing Munroe after working his nads off for him finished him off really.

Maloneys book is a good read. Well worth getting if anyone is interested to see how Maloney was once a major player and an astute businessman. The Lennox fall out was not really anything to do with Lewis but those around Lewis trying to gain a bigger piece of the pie.

Lennox always comes across as a pretty tuned in guy I think a lesser manager would not have been able to last as long as Maloney eventually did.

What did he say in his book about munroe leaving him?? Im not a maloney fan, in fact id say his shitty cards is the reason for the lack of boxing coverage on sky, but think munroe was a disgrace leaving him after what frank did for him

His book came out in the early 00's, so there's nothing in the book about Munroe.

In fact, other than a rant on Boxrec there's been nothing from him on the whole issue.....

Some of my earliest boxing memories are Lennox Lewis fights and the funny little man in the Union Jack suit who would follow him to the ring. I genuinely thought he was a mascot. Sometimes I still do.
