Joshua is a mentally weak fighter who has lost all his confidence to Ruiz, and Usyk is an excellent fighter who is strong mentally and capitalized on his strengths and Joshua's weaknesses.
Usyk was that good. His movement bamboozled AJ. Usyk was able to find the holes and place perfect clean punches. He put on that mental pressure and broke AJ down. He put AJ in that uncomfortable place of "No matter what I do, I'm getting tagged".
Usyk is historically an ATG fighter, and although AJ put up a solid effort he is not in the same class.
All credot to Usyk. His gameplan and exectuion were superb. He kept AJ guessing and in between the whole fight. For Joshua’s part, he should have kept at the body, ad he was having success, and it seemed to affect Usyk.
Anyone who says Joshua is mediocre is beyond deranged, frankly. Neither of these guys are that good. Go watch Holyfield/Bowe if you want to see this same fight only with great fighters.
AJ tried to outbox a better boxer. For all the **** Wilder gets on this forum about his ring IQ and technique, at least he knows who he is and what he does best, he isn’t fighting someone else’s fight.
Well Usyk is very skilled and AJ has liabilities. Combination of both, but more that Usyk is very good. He beat him in a convincing manner. If Fury beats Wilder which is still a question because of Wilder's power, then Fury vs. Usky is the fight which will tell us how good Usky is..
