something was obvously wrong with oscar last night. i just cant believe that he is simply over the hill. something went wrong with him. granted he didnt look great vs forbes but i dont think he looked that bad vs pbf.im not even a big oscar fan but when he doesnt fight in a competitive fight at 35 yrs old something went wrong.i feel these 2 reasons are the reason we all got robbed of 50 bucks last night.reason one is why the **** would oscar bring his family to train with him at big bear? what sense does that make? how can you really concentrate on training when you bring your family with you and live in the same house as them?reason number two is im thinking maybe he got dehydrated cutting the weight?? when i saw that manny outweighed him the night of the fight i was scratching my head.how did he only gain 2 lbs from the official weigh in? he shouldve weighed in around 155-160 the night of the fight.he was sluggish tired weak and looked like he didnt want to be there, all signs of being dehydrated.im not at all trying to make excuses for him im just trying to justify the money i lost when i purchased the ppv. what do you guys think??? he didnt even put up a good sparring session.something was wrong.i will say that im very happy for roach, kudos!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More than anything, he just couldn't catch him and if he wasn't weight drained I don't think it would've made a whole lot of difference. Bigger man or not, you can't hurt what you can't catch and if the smaller man catch you enough, he can hurt you.
Pacman usually makes his opponent look more shot than they're actually are. Hell david diaz looked like a shot fighter against pac.
atsch Holy **** you've said it again. I'm taking a break from this forum when everybody's calmed down after this fight. Nobody has any sense of perspective.
what happened was he was in the ring with Pacman.....not someone who just sits and waits for Oscar to attack, and counters....or uses there defensive skills to make him miss, he was in there with someone willing put there fist through the back of there head neither Mayweather or Forbes are that guy........
No, glad you've picked up on that so I can clear it up. I wern't saying that speed is the be all and end all or whatever, but I don't think there was anything unusual wrong with Oscar last night, OK maybe he messed the weight up but not to make excuses, Oscar of today just couldn't beat Pacquiao.
Jesus, I didn't think i'd get pulled up on that post so much. No, but Oscar just couldn't catch him, no matter what was wrong with him.
