What happened to Andre Dirrell??

Abraham scrambled his brains permanently. And that led contaminated water in Flint didn't help either.

 

wouldnt mind seeing him in a rematch with degale......not much of a demand for it but id like to see it

im still not sure what he was doing the last 2 rounds of the fight....for some reason it seemed like he thought he was winning...which is nuts to me....but if he kept fighting he might have won it

extremely gifted as an athlete....just some missing in the mental department

 

Other than the knockdown the fight was fairly competitive.

 

I find it amazing that both Andre's, Ward and Dirrell both made such terrible career decisions.

Ward signed with Roc Nation, a terrible decision.

Dirrell made Chris Byrd his trainer and switched to southpaw. Terrible decision. Byrd is a terrible trainer for Dirrell who should have gone to Hunter, Naazim Richardson or Mayweathers.
Hopefully he has dropped Byrd because I feel that he has gotten worst and distracted by this southpaw switch and defence heavy Byrd.
In fact, I felt Dirrell's defensive skills were better before he hooked up with Byrd then after.

 

Yeah plenty of good fights for him he was looking for a degale rematch after the fight but he has been very quiet since needs to get back in the mix

DeGale said definitely no rematch until Andre works back up into position.
Both Dirrell brothers lost back to back, but they are still young enough to bounce back.

 

That's because they threw a lot of money at him. Gave him a signing bonus which was rumored to be close to $300K. Promoters rarely give signing bonuses to boxers anymore.

 

How about 50cents? He give Gamboa a bonus?

Right about now I'm sure he wants to give it back.

 

I like both of them would love to see groves vs Anthony and I think Andre could avenge his brother against badou jack

I always laughed when they announced Froch as the Cobra. His speed is more python like than Cobra. :yep

 

Hopefully we hear something soon. Him and Groves is a good fight
