What happened to Arturo gatti?

The man had definite faults, but he never murdered anybody. Let's be rational here.

 

He murdered himself actually. Anyway, the man is dead and it's tough to really judge someone you didn't know personally. Boxing fans should stick to judging him for what he did in the ring.

Then that standard should be applied to every boxer not just a guy who was popular because of his fighting style. Fans sit on message boards like ESB and make all sorts of claims and judgements about guys that they don't and will never know personally.

The double standards about who should or shouldn't be criticized when a lot these guys are doing the exact same **** outside of the ring really bother me.

 

I thought he was murdered but then a Canadian coroner concluded it was suicide. As someone else said, the family sued his wife and were not successful. That should be enough to conclude that it wasn't murder. I mean, it's not hard to see how that's possible.

I've always believed that in yet another serious arguement/fight, I mean people on the street were supposedly thrown rocks at Gatti during the fight. Anyway, I think she got the aid or assistance from friends, aquaintances, family, whomever, lifes cheap in some parts of the world, and they strung him up.

he might have been already dead, who knows, but she was pissed with him, had enough and even if he was just passed out, she's brought people in to finish him. as people stated she was initialy thought to have done it, or had it done.

then I think she spent the next two weeks suckin dick in custody and promosing payment to a notoriously corrupt police force & legal system.

she was a spoiled, act completely on feelings and emotions little tramp. and sad as it is to say but many people brought up in rough quarters are often like this anyway, and especially in some parts of the world, more than others. and Brazil's famous for this to begin with.

I think she did it, but could be wrong, just never sat right this case.

 

I saw it. It made me think he was killed not a suicide. I think his wife let someone into the room and they killed him while he was passed out.

 

that show special that aired this weekend really opened up a whole new look on this ****.......crazy how the first investigator on the scene (from brazil) wanted her in for murder...but that 2nd piece of grimy **** looking mutha****er let her off the hook.......the tests they ran on those dummy dolls were insane...neiter matched what they said happened

this is a thread I did on Gatti, got moved to the lounge, dont know why it was a Tribute to Arturo, many opinions in there, along with documentaries.

It is important to not, He allegedly hung himself with a purse strap, same strap (replica but exactly the same) was strapped to 90 pound doll, it didnt last very long till it snapped, Now how is a 180lb man supposed to hang for hours.

Not saying it was his wife, but I suspect there was foul play involved
