Well, Botha has a name, and I personally think he was a pretty good fighter in his prime. And also, what a venue! I would love to have a fight there.
No-one has mentioned this but am sure at the Thaxton fight last week, there were advertising boards for Williams v McDermott II for November?? Boxrec have him down as having both Botha and McDermott in November, so looks as though he will have a busy November ahead of him. Suppose its more incentive for him to try an steamroll McDermott before he has Botha within a month. Suppose its a challenge for him ... An we all know how Danny loves adversity.... reference: please see Tyson, Airich (and his promoter), Mark Potter who still wonders how Danny stopped him despite having a dislocated shoulder!!?
Supposedly the McDermott rematch is off,he will just fight Botha,at least that is what I heard.He might fight both,Williams always gets himself in these ''die hard'' situations but always pulls out ok,most of the times
