What happened to British Boxers?

The UK has lots of good up-and-coming boxers: Groves, Brook, Price, DeGale, Quigg, Chisora etc.

As well they have some very good established fighters like Burns, Cleverly, Khan and Froch.

I expect Khan to be back with a very successful 2012.

 

And yet American fighters, despite the decline in the sport's interest in this country, continue to produce the best fighters in the world.
